Full Time General Description Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of

Electrical and Machine Shops:

Creates and reviews master production schedules, establishes priorities, and revises schedule according to work flow, established priorities, and availability of workers and equipment. Duties Create Shop Load reports with workers and equipment.
Create weekly/monthly dispatch reports to operations to ensure priorities are being worked.
Review shop routers prior to release and load planning factors that meet planning policies.
Review BOMs as needed to help ensure accuracy.
s and distributes manufacturing data packages for assigned projects on scheduled plan release dates.
Attends material review board meetings and help determine root cause and help determine method for correcting nonconformance.
Coordinate with Program Managers, Production Managers, and Manufacturing Engineers in implementing engineering changes.
Monitor the execution of the production plan and escalate potential issues in a timely manner.
Create and vendor consignment notice and coordinates outside processing.
Work closely and maintain professional relationships with all members of the manufacturing team.
Expedite material from building to building “as required” to assist with production flow.
s develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
Maintain schedules and priorities of assigned projects to ensure on-time delivery.
s interpretpany policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Assist Planning department with day to day operations.
Other Duties as assigned Education/Experience requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for degree.
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. CostPoint experience is a plus.
Requires a minimum of eight (8) years of production experience.
Must be able to review and understand production routers/BOMS prior to release.
Must have experience in creating and working with Bills of Material and government drawings.
Ability tomunicate well with co-workers and management.
Possess effective verbal and writtenmunication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
General Computer Skills required.
Able to multi-task; to include forecasting and effectivelymunication with a wide-variety of work disciplines to provide up-to-date technical information on queries associated with assigned projects.

Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions
