Regular hours are Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Employees may need to adjust work hours during surge situations.

Brief Job Description:

The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products throughout theplete production cycle. This role ensures the timely scheduling of manufacturing work orders to meet both internal financial goals and customer delivery deadlines. Responsibilities Initiate Bills of Material for pricing and analysis
Coordinate material flow to meet production schedules.
Work closely with purchasing to expedite supplier purchase orders when necessary.
Utilize ERP systems to auto-generate and release manufacturing work orders.
Collaborate with warehouse teams to manage kit picking and resolve material shortages.
Communicate schedule impacts to Sales and coordinate manufacturing builds to meet deadlines.
Prepare and maintain status reports on production progress, customer orders, and inventory levels. judgment within established procedures to make effective decisions
Performs other tasks as needed Requirements Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and material flow.
Ability to understand engineering documents: Bill of Materials (BOM’s), Change Orders and procedures.
Ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external customers.
Proficiency inputer systems and ERP/MRP software (preferred).
Costpoint experience is a plus.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years of production planning experience in a related industry.
Must be capable of passing a drug screen
Must be capable of passing a background check
Must have stronganizational and planning skills and the ability to prioritize work
Must be detail oriented with good analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks independently
Must be able to work in a team environment
Must have attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Must demonstrate positive, polite, and professional behavior at all times when dealing with co-workers, customers, and all levels of management
Must have the ability tomunicate using clear, concise, and accurate English; both verbal and written are

Required Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from aputer screen. Must have sufficient mobility to include but not limited to: bending, reaching, climbing, turning, and kneeling toplete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. T is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Must be able to lift, move, and transport items frequently over 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

Generally, work is conducted in an inside office environment, but may also involve some outside work depending on the task. The inside environment may be in an office or cubicle with close quarters, low to moderate noise, and bright or dim lighting.
