Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and performing specialized processes directly related to process control in an automotive manufacturing environment. Facilitate the uninterrupted flow of finished goods inventory through the shipment output point.

Essential Functions:

Maintain and organize departmental information electronically. Act as liaison between other departments and Production Control. Coordinate and organize vehicles in all stages of vehicle build including communicating with all departments within HMMA and HMMA suppliers if needed.
Understand and support production environment including work load balancing, constraint management, data interfaces, manifest compliance, etc.
Understand and support processes affecting production, including Kick Outs, DVRs, Class II, manifest data, Panel replacements, etc. Understand and support invoicing for distributors as well as special purpose vehicles.
Continuously streamline Process Control, areas of responsibility, and overall operations.
Provide a high level of customer support to all teams.
Support Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) management items including but not limited to the tracking of not on file units, money gate reporting, VPC long delay unit tracking, and owner’s manuals inventory ordering & management.
Support with the documentation, tracking and management of test units including shipment of these units.
Coordinate the building and shipping of after service parts.
Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred

Related Experience:

0 – 10 years job related experience preferred
Skills /

Knowledge:

MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint SAP desired

Additional Information:

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
