Job Description
Nursing Scheduler Skilled Healthcare Center Simsbury, CT 06070 Seeking an experienced Full-Time Nursing Scheduler to join our team of healthcare professionals. While working closely with Nursing Administration, the Nursing Scheduler plays a vital role in maintenance of appropriate staffing levels in the facility.
The Nursing Scheduler will:
Have knowledge of electronic scheduling platform Immediately notify the Director of Nursing Services of any urgent staffing concerns Plan ahead for adequate coverage during holiday and vacation requests Follow staffing protocol as set forth by maintaining mandated staffing levels Ideal candidate will have previous experience as a nursing staff scheduler, or previous experience in timekeeping and payroll, preferably in a healthcare environment Assist with Facility recruitment initiatives Post monthly schedules Maintain confidentiality with respect to employee information
