Position:
Successful, established financial advisory practice in the Hartford area has an opening for an Investment and Operations Specialist . The Investment and Operations Specialist is an advisor/support position that provides technical support to a team of advisors and staff providing comprehensive service to high-net-worth clientele.
Responsibilities:
Create a positive impression of our business for existing and new clients. Assist team members in providing excellent service to clients. Support client relationship management activities, including scheduling and ensuring ongoing and regular client contact and communications. Assist team members to ensure exceptional service is provided to clients. Handling client service requests. Processing and tracking insurance applications. Assist with preparing for client meetings. Processing and tracking insurance applications. Assisting with portfolio management. Tracking trades and transactions. Following up with clients on systematic transactions. Accepting orders from clients. Complete trades/transactions under the guidance of a Financial Advisor. Complete special projects. Assist with as-needed office administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications:
SIE and Series 7 highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. Self-confidence, personal integrity, and an understanding of fiduciary responsibility. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Able to communicate effectively. Detail oriented, strong math and analytical skills. Good organization and time management skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Systems and process oriented. Able to work independently. Strong computer and software skills. A corporate background check will be performed.
