Nesco Resource is looking for a 2nd Shift Operations AnnealerAssociate located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunityfor the right candidate.

Shift:

-2 nd Shift Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM(Ability to train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks)

Pay:

$20.16-$22.40/Hour depending on experience

Overview:

Highly skilledoperator to execute key phases of high precision tube and wiremanufacturing including, but not limited to, tube and bar drawing,heat treating, precision cutting and centerless grinding. Completeall responsibilities per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) andwork instructions. Assist management to schedule and set prioritiesfor the orders on the floor. Assist maintenance and engineeringwith identifying area for improvements to the equipment, processsteps and documentation. Maintain a safe, organized and clean workenvironment. Communicate effectively to optimize Quality, Safetyand Efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Manage the set up and operationof machines for maximum efficiency. Set-up and maintain wire/tubeprocessing equipment according to production schedule and qualitystandards – making minor adjustments as necessary. Operate morethan one equipment within an assigned work cell. Perform in-processinspections and analyze data required by work instructions,routers, and other specifications. Must be able to perform requiredinspections using precision measuring instruments, pin gauges,laser micrometer and other tools. Document basic processobservations such as dimensional and shape changes of the product,tooling and equipment. Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Inspect drawing dies and tooling before and after each use.

Inventory tools, fixtures and consumables for the assigned area.

Work with logistics personnel to meet corporate on-time delivery,scrap and shipment goals. Collect information to work withmanufacturing engineering to improve processes, reduce scrap andincrease productivity. Oversee that production/developmentpaperwork conforms to GMP. Enforce line clearance procedure. Trackwork order status and flow. Other responsibilities as required bySupervisor or Manufacturing Manager. Enter/maintain work ordersusing an electronic ERP system.

Qualifications:

Technical schoolsor college degree preferred, but not required. High School Degreeor equivalent required. Two to Five years of related experience ina manufacturing environment. Experience with Windows based PC’s andtheir related applications such as Excel and Word. Ability to read,analyse, and interpret production work instructions, routers andspecifications. Ability to effectively present information andrespond to questions from operators and to upper management andauditors. Spanish skills language skills not required but would bean asset.
