Duties :
Perform as a cyber security operations technical resource, perform operations security tasks, liaise on cyber defense projects, implement and understand security compliance and perform related administrative functions. Responsible for the day-to-day security delivery, privileged (User) Access Management (PUAM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Vulnerability, Proxy, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Unix, Linux, Firewall (FW), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), and process automation. Develop processes to improve long term capabilities of security tools, new tools, and procedures to make systems administration more effective and efficient. Responsible for the following job duties specifically: maintain security organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance; delivery and management of the work plan including executing complex projects; provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to lower-level analysts; support the implementation of IT security control mechanisms and physical security; develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practice; review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary; coordinate and supervise the daily activities of our support team; and understand and anticipate our customer’s needs and offer customized solutions.
Requirements :
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology or related field of study, and 3 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving software development, secure software architecture and securely integrating computer systems into a professional computing environment. Experience specified must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: working on IT security projects, Security Unix and Linux Administration and CIS hardening; Linux, IT infrastructure including computer networking, computer servers and virtualization, including VMWare platform; working with data center technologies such as firewalls, IPS, and Proxy Servers; all of the following tools, including
RSA, CISCO DUO
Multifactor, Cisco ASA VPN, Passfilt (password blacklisting), Meraki, Proofpoint, F5, Symantec DLP and Qualys scanner (implementation, reporting and remediation); working with cloud infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft Azure; working on implementation and running of Active Directory, Windows Administration, windows CIS hardening and windows workstation; all of the following tools, including Symantec End Point Protection Antivirus on Windows, RSA, CISCO DUO Multifactor, Anyconnect on Windows, CyberReason NEST on Windows, McAfee Skyhigh Proxy (or latest McAfee Proxy) on windows, InTunes Wireless, Microsoft NPS, Microsoft SCCM, WSUS, Active Directory (Hardening), Ping Castle, Microsoft Teams Rooms AV Architecture, Microsoft AIP, and Qualys agents on Windows; Cyber Security operations software including antivirus, EDR, password security, password management and account security; all of the following tools, including Symantec End Point Protection Antivirus, Detack EPAS, CyberArk, CyberReason NEST, McAFee Skyhigh Proxy (or latest McAfee product for proxy) and Symantec DLP; working across multiple IT domains; and adhering to ISO 27001 and PCI compliance. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
