  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time

  • This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing
  • 3 or more years of experience in materials planning or inventory control withina manufacturing environment
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds during an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to regularly walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, lift items, and handle packaging and unloading of materials throughout the shift
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of related work experience, or an Associate degree.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
  • Experience working on NASA programs
  • Experience in material management concepts and best practices.

  • Production Coordinator
  • to support the development of Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner, a Boeing spacecraft supporting NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The selected candidate for this position will be a part of a mission that helps launch astronauts to the International Space Station and advances the future of human space exploration.

This is anon-site position.

The selected candidates must be willing to work the first and second shifts

  • , weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Key Duties
  • Process and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production areas, and other locations to support complex production, product support activities, and flight test operations
  • Monitor and analyze work in process to ensure timely flow and accuracy
  • Update the status of parts and materials using automated systems
  • Identify and report problems and make recommendations to ensure parts availability
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy
  • Coordinate with various teams to set priorities, expedite, and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
  • Expedite material to the production floor as needed
  • Work under limited supervision to support production schedules and objectives.
