Job Summary:
Performs various tasks as assigned by the Expeditor Lead and or Production Supervisor. Positions in this category are expediting and inventory and any other assignment as directed by the Expediting Lead and Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Consistent and punctual attendance each scheduled workday. Report to work fit for duty and sustain fitness throughout the day. Performs various functions and duties following written or verbal instruction.
These duties may include:
Cleans, sweeps and organize work area. Know all bakery products specification. Be able to identity all bakery products and outsource items. Build pallets. Pick order and load order into cage properly. Report any shortage product fresh or frozen order to Shipping Supervisor . Organize storage area after expediting is completed Close and lock down shipping doors afte location. Clean and sweep out shipping cages Responsible for food safety requirements pertaining to SQF, GMP and any other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations. Maintains work area and equipment to company sanitary standards. Abides by Company safety rules and performs duties in a safe manner at all times. Performs any and all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven experience in food distribution Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) related to food safety
