Job Description:
The Bilingual Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing the daily schedule. Key responsibilities include contacting the client and crew members daily to confirm the schedule for the following day, prepare the daily schedule, inputting requests from clients daily, and scheduling the employees. The Scheduler will report to the Area Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a Crew Lead, number of laborers, trucks and equipment per job scheduled on each ticket
- Create tickets for new jobs and maintain correct tickets per job operation (WR#’s, Company/Client Name, number of laborers, correct address for job location and type/number of set up) 602,603, 613 etc. Skill in oral and written communication
- Maintain correct phone numbers for all staff, crew, and clients
- Provide copies of schedules printed out for Project Managers for the weekend job operations and night operations
- Regularly required to verbally communicate, listen, and give detailed information as needed.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bilingual, required High School Graduate or equivalent GED, and some college. Experience in the traffic control industry Advanced knowledge of scheduling principles, procedures for MOT operations for STS Strong work ethic, excellent time management, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the company. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Twilio, TCR), internet, and generating reports.
