Overview:
Our client is seeking a Merchandising Operations Specialist to join the Catalog Systems team, part of the broader Merchandising Systems & Services (MSS) organization in Plantation, FL. MSS builds the foundational systems, services, and processes that power business and category teams, focusing on Pricing, Catalog/Content, and Vendor Services. This team supports scalable business growth, customer trust, and profitability. In this role, you’ll blend technical acumen with merchandising operations, working with catalog and ERP systems to ensure accurate, high-quality item-level data. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by maintaining the integrity and completeness of product listings.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage new item setup, including content collection from brand partners, data and asset imports, quality checks, and webpage audits. Analyze and synthesize complex data sets to support business decisions. Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvements related to catalog systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a corporate, tech-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems. Familiarity with software quality processes and tools like Confluence and JIRA. Background in e-commerce is a plus.
