POSITION SUMMARY
The Imaging Scheduler at Borland-Groover Clinic is responsible for making appointments for all physicians/providers throughout the clinic.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Answer incoming phone calls from patients as well as satellite offices Schedule appointments as needed Create new patients in the computer system Give patients directions to the office Distribute all faxes appropriately from the department fax machine Receive faxes from referring physicians and schedule patient appointments appropriately Other duties assigned
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and others Ability to obtain information and accurately enter it into computer Pleasant personality Ability to speak English and be fluent in Spanish are a plus. Excellent data entry skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma required. Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for an extended period of time. Ability to communicate in English. Ability to see within normal parameters. Ability to hear within normal range. Ability to use hands, arms, and legs within the specifications of the job
