If you’re an organized, detail-driven professional with a passion for supporting patient care behind the scenes, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures for multiple providers across various locations Verify surgical clearance and insurance authorizations prior to procedures Communicate surgery details clearly with patients, including pre and postoperative instructions Ensure all documentation and preop requirements are completed in a timely manner Liaise with hospitals, surgical centers, and internal clinical staff to confirm logistics Track surgery schedules and proactively resolve conflicts or delays Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in surgical scheduling, preferably in orthopedics, spine, or pain management Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes Familiarity with EMR systems Strong communication, organization, and problemsolving skills Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
