1 year plus extensions Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lending Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services and have a keen understanding of loan origination and processing. Responsibilities Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation. Evaluate applicants’ financial information to determine eligibility for loans. Process loan applications efficiently while adhering to all regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client interactions using financial software. Communicate effectively with clients throughout the loan process, addressing any questions or concerns. Collaborate with loan officers and other team members to ensure timely processing of loans. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting loan products. Experience Proven experience in financial services, particularly in loan origination or processing. Proficiency in using financial software and tools relevant to the lending process. Strong mathematical skills, including basic math and 10 key typing ability for accurate data entry. Familiarity with contracts related to loans and an understanding of compliance regulations is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
