Responsibilities Provides direct on-floor leadership and support during operating hours to Skill Instructor staff, including assigning tasks/responsibilities, communicating daily activities, assisting with coverage issues, and providing live time feedback Continually provides routine feedback to Skill Instructors. Performs formal performance feedback during Introductory Period, monthly and annually timeframes. Facilitates feedback to Skill Instructors from other members of team Develops, monitors, and maintains the staffing schedule for direct reports. Updates weekly and/or daily to meet staffing needs. Manages schedule to provide staff time-off to meet correct ratios while avoiding overtime Works in partnership with Client Services Coordinator to ensure clients receive continuous active treatment in alignment with Support and Individual Implementation Plans Works in partnership with nursing staff to ensure excellence in the delivery of health care services by Skill Instructors Works in partnership with behavior/validations staff to ensure correct implementation of behavior plans/procedures and aids during crisis situations as needed Recruits, interviews, and hires direct reports. Includes full-time, part-time, and part-time on-call employees. Establishes clear performance expectations with direct reports Leads staff training opportunities including new hire (on-boarding) training, in-service topics, and individualized improvement needs Participates in the staff grievance process to a satisfactory resolution Tracks and maintains records of absentee reports, time-off requests, or other areas affecting the status of the schedule Regularly monitors time-clock punches of direct reports and corrects as needed. Completes payroll for direct reports, checks off payroll prior to appointed deadline, and adjusts payroll corrections as needed Complete incident report paperwork, investigations, and follow-up as needed Oversees risk management activities to ensure a safe environment to decrease staff injuries, client injuries, and decrease first aid and worker’s compensation claims. Ensures work injury documentation is completed correctly and provides modified duty work when needed Maintain a presentable, clean, and safe work environment always Follow all Quest policies and procedures Meet all training/meeting obligations Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications High school diploma and must be 18 years or older required Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required Minimum of 1 year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Florida Driver’s License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years
Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the future
Effectively communicate at all levels, write, and speak English using acceptable grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Understand and follow multiple steps and verbal instructions in English without assistance or supervision
Organize and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines
Work independently without constant supervision and complete tasks in a timely manner
Problem-solve and use good judgement in making decisions
Conduct self in a professional and courteous manner
Present a professional appearance as a representative of the community
