What You’ll Do:
The plant Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring efficient operations within supply chain by providing administrative, operational, and clerical support. The individual serves as a central coordination point for plant communication, record keeping, data reporting and analytics, event coordination, and general office management.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with other functional areas to ensure that products, plans, processes, promotions, and other strategies are translated into realistic operational plans. Provide daily administrative support to the Plant Manager and leadership team. Maintain accurate records for production, quality, safety, attendance, and maintenance activities. Manage the plant office, including ordering supplies, filing documents, and handling incoming/outgoing communications. Assist with preparation and distribution of internal reports, presentations, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Coordinate scheduling for meetings, plant tours, and training sessions. Support HR functions including onboarding documentation, timekeeping, and employee communication. Liaise with corporate departments such as Finance, IT, and HR to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to operations and personnel. Assist with compliance documentation related to safety, environmental, and quality standards. Facilitate invoice processing, expense reporting, and vendor communications. Maintain accurate documentation and records for regulatory inspections and internal audits. Drive optimization and standardization of operational and supply chain processes. Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity. Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Familiarity with workplace safety and compliance requirements is a plus. Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies preferred. Prefer experience in cost tracking and ROI analysis. Typical workweek is Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend hours as needed.
Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary work with frequent sitting at a desk using a computer, phone, and other office equipment. Occasional standing, walking, and moving between office and production areas to attend meetings, perform audits, or support operations. Occasional lifting or carrying of office supplies, files, or boxes weighing up to 25 pounds. Repetitive hand and finger motions for typing, writing, and data entry. Visual acuity for reading documents, computer screens, and monitoring reports. Hearing and speaking ability for clear communication in person, over the phone, or via virtual meetings. Ability to climb short staircases or access production floor levels as needed. May be exposed to typical manufacturing plant conditions, such as noise, dust, or fluctuating temperatures, when entering the plant floor. Why Florida’s Natural?
