Our client is currently seeking a Architectural Permit Expeditor! This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity and will be 100% remote.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Permit Management Specialist to oversee permit management for our retail and restaurant projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in permit expediting and a strong understanding of building permits, building codes, and project coordination. This role involves coaching and training our team on permit expediting processes and researching permit requirements across different states in the US.
Responsibilities:
Manage and expedite building permit applications. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Train and coach team members on permit expediting. Coordinate with third-party firms for permit-related tasks. Research and stay updated on permit requirements in various states. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely permit approvals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, building design, construction, or a related field, OR at least 10 years of relevant work experience in permit expediting. Extensive experience in permit expediting. Strong knowledge of building permits and codes. Excellent project coordination and administration skills. Ability to work independently and remotely. Previous experience with permit expediting firms or architecture firms preferred.
