As a Part-Time Catering Food Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food from the kitchen to the event space. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the preparation, packaging, and delivery of catering orders, ensuring that all items are accurate and meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the preparation and packaging of catering orders, ensuring accuracy and quality. Act as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the catering delivery team. Monitor food presentation and packaging to ensure it meets company standards. Oversee the timely delivery of catering orders to event locations. Assist with inventory management and order supplies as needed. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained. Address any issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, delivery personnel, and event coordinators.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a food service or catering role, preferably as an expeditor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and service.
