Deposit Operations Specialist 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Orlando, FL 32801 The Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for performing all back-office functions to support the branches and daily client transactions. These functions include, but are not limited to, Non-Post Exceptions (Including ACH), Returns, Chargebacks, Teller Balancing, Large Dollar Verification, Mobile deposit review, Debit Cards and all other deposit related functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform operational tasks such as, Non-Post, NSF, Chargebacks, Reg-E claims, Large Dollar Verification, CD/IRA Management, GL Reconcilement, etc. Review all Mobile deposits for proper restrictive endorsement. Handle all fraudulent transactions related to Debit Card, Check, or ACH. Complete required reports accurately and promptly. Maintain the highest level of quality control when reviewing all account maintenance. Verify all aspects of new account opening and paperwork are completed accurately and timely. Processes and responds to garnishments, levies, subpoenas, and other legal demands. Reviews dormant accounts reporting and tracks all aspects of those accounts. Work with dept manager to determine actions necessary to protect the Bank against possible loss. Support branch staff with deposit operations inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, Industry designation or certification.
