Medical Scheduler
We are looking for a Medical Scheduler to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This role is essential in ensuring smooth scheduling operations and maintaining accurate medical records, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage staff schedules based on daily patient needs and volume.
  • Maintain and update medical records with precision and attention to detail.
  • Utilize scheduling software and platforms to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Handle inbound calls effectively, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless scheduling and record-keeping processes.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information.
  • Monitor deadlines and effectively manage challenges as they arise.
  • Provide billing support and address related queries when necessary.
  • Demonstrate professionalism during difficult situations and interruptions.
  • Completion of a one-year certificate program from a college or technical school, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Minimum of one to three years of experience in staff scheduling and medical records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, scheduling software, and relevant platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Experience with EHR systems, CRM tools, and medical technologies such as ADP, Allscripts, and Cerner.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
