The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient appointments, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth operations within our three offices. Responsibilities Schedule patient appointments efficiently while considering provider availability and patient needs. Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, services, and care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date in the scheduling systems. Collaborate with medical staff to optimize appointment scheduling and reduce wait times. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate billing and insurance claims processing as needed. Skills Experience with medical scheduling is preferred. Strong computer skills with familiarity in scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHR). Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately for data entry tasks. Knowledge of care plans and medical terminology related to scheduling procedures. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate professionally with patients and healthcare providers.
