Job Description The role of the Maintenance Planner Scheduler in Facility Operations is to ensure that all routine maintenance is efficiently planned and scheduled. To successfully perform this role, the Maintenance Planner Scheduler will have the necessary crafts or special skills needed to perform maintenance activities safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on a team are imperative. Previous maintenance or operations experience in an industrial facility are preferred. Essential Duties Conduct site visits. Identify safety hazards and resource requirements, including labor, materials, tools, etc. Develop preliminary weekly schedules for review with operations and maintenance to ensure asset and resource availability. Approve final work schedules for release. This position will be located at the Lanier Filter Plant 2590 S. Waterworks Road Buford, GA 30518 Grade The grade for this position is B24(2). Salary will be dependent on education and experience. Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Manufacturing and/or Technical related field; AND Three years of progressively responsible trades experience in water/wastewater or similar industries, to include two years of experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as MAXIMO, SAP, City Works, etc. OR Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above. Valid Driver’s License from state of residency.
