Operations Coordinator Pat Mathis Construction Co, Inc. Savannah, GA 31416 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our team. This position will be a Pat Mathis Construction Company Employee, but will manage operations staffing in the facility of the Enmarket Arena, from the setup of event through the end of the event along with post event breakdown; position will recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate all part time operations staff; coordinate communication between event department and delegate assignments to pat time staff; be responsible for staffing setup and teardown of each event and ensure overall upkeep of facility. This will also include the Johnney Mercer Theatre. Responsibilities Assume responsibility for all staffing and staff activities involved in the operations department at Enmarket Arena and Johnny Mercer Theatre. Provide and oversee staffing for ice sheet installation / removal, including; paint, logos / decals, flooding, leveling. Perform and oversee day-to-day building operations, maintenance and special projects Oversee third party operations staff Assist event department with rider specifications, ensuring all setups are completed and set to specifications in date sheets Oversee and monitor changeover crews, provide team support as required Maintains and oversees departmental equipment; notify Operations Manager s additional services are required Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients, interacts with other facility staff in a courteous, cooperative, and professional manner to provide a positive employee climate. Attend weekly staff meetings and provide staffing updates. Check weekly timesheets for accuracy and submit them to PMCC in a timely manner. Requirements Proven experience in a minimum of (2) years’ experience in facility events and operations management preferred. Bachelor’s / Technical degree from an accredited college/university/school also preferred. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively and self -motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to function and make management decisions in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail and organization. Knowledge in a hockey facility preferred. Occasional travel may be required.
