Landmark Hospital of Savannah is in search of a positive, proactive, well-organized Scheduling & Administrative Coordinator to support the Leadership team.
Summary :
The Scheduling & Administrative Coordinator will perform a variety of support tasks. The primary task will be coordinating the clinical shift schedules using the Shifthound/Inovolon tool. The coordinator will work closely with the clinical leadership to optimize the shift coverage and resolve scheduling issues. Our goal is to ensure staffing is aligned with the needs of our patient census and acuity. On a daily/weekly basis, the schedule is proactively reviewed and adjusted to address any shortfalls or changes. In addition to the clinical schedule, the coordinator will support the leadership team by providing administrative support, facilitating workflow between departments and staff, and handling filing and other administrative duties that support critical hospital operations. This role also provides organizational support for groups, committees, and meetings as delegated and may also be assigned other departmental support tasks. The coordinator will see all aspects of the hospital operations and have a hand in helping us complete projects involving data gathering, organizational tasks, and communications. These other areas supported include Health Information Management (HIM), Human Resources (HR), and Quality and/or other areas as needed/determined by the CEO. Other tasks might include credentialing support and support of the scheduling tool and processes. This full-time employee will work an average of 36 – 40 hours a week.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate the clinical schedule and resolve staff scheduling issues Answers phones and dispatches calls correctly Opens, sorts, and delivers mail Maintains group calendars Makes copies/distributes minutes and agendas Organizes and communicates events as needed (creates flyers, distributes communications) Maintains distribution lists Exhibits professionalism and a sense of urgency when completing assigned tasks Other duties as determined by
CEO Requirements:
