Scheduler (Midtown Atlanta, GA) We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our growing team to support major capital projects in the Atlanta area. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Midtown Atlanta , offering a great work-life balance and the opportunity to be a part of high-impact infrastructure work.
Location & Schedule :
Midtown Atlanta, GA (Local applicants only — must be within commuting distance to Midtown Atlanta). On-site Monday through Thursday Remote on Fridays Local candidates only (within driving distance) No C2C inquiries accepted
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and update both summary-level and detailed project schedules. task lists covering design, procurement, construction, and closeout phases. Identify key milestones, long-lead procurement items, and critical approvals. Establish logic and constraints based on stakeholder input. Determine realistic durations based on manpower and production rates. Assign and track resources (labor, material, and cost). Evaluate critical path and near-critical path activity sequences. Conduct site visits to assess and track progress. Identify schedule changes and provide trend analysis. Recommend corrective actions and recovery plans in response to delays. Review contractor-prepared schedules and provide feedback. Prepare post-construction as-built schedules and document lessons learned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Construction Management , or related field. 5+ years of scheduling experience on capital projects . Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required . Background in the energy sector is preferred but not required. Strong communication and presentation skills. Analytical thinker with excellent decision-making capabilities.
