Production Coordinator Hero Roofing 21 Tower Place, Newnan, GA 30263 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing production processes, ensuring that scheduling runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the facility. Duties Coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely completion of production goals. Submit labor tickets to available crews and contact customers to schedule jobs. Submit material orders for deliveries. Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain production flow and avoid shortage of materials. Maintain a working calendar of production – scheduling roof replacements, gutter installations, and various other trades to ensure timely completion of contracts. Collaborate with teams to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns. Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and the proper use of tools and equipment. Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory usage, and equipment maintenance. Experience Previous experience in construction coordination preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to problem solve. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
