People Management:
Lead, mentor, and supporta remote team of consultants. Provide ongoing coaching andfacilitate professional development. Assist in hiring anddeveloping team talent in line with project needs and culture fit.
Baseline & Strategic Scheduling:
Establish and maintain baselineschedules that align with the delivery strategy, including phasedcommissioning and fast-track execution models.
Risk & ImpactAnalysis:
Perform schedule risk assessments to identify delaysalong the critical path and propose mitigation strategies. Conductwhat-if scenarios to forecast impacts of design changes,procurement delays, or field issues.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate closely with design, cost, and procurement teams toensure realistic integration of timelines and resourcedependencies.
Ongoing Schedule Management:
Maintain live projectschedules throughout execution. Reflect real-time progress, manageupdates, and track changes to provide accurate and actionableschedule insights.
Critical Path Monitoring:
Track and analyzecritical and near-critical activities, proactively identifyingdelays and recommending recovery plans.
Commissioning ScheduleManagement:
Develop and manage commissioning plans in alignmentwith mechanical, electrical, and IT system turnovers, includingparallel commissioning strategies.
Tool & Process Optimization:
Leverage existing tools such as Procore and MS Project to driveschedule efficiency. Identify gaps and recommend new systems ortools to enhance performance and alignment with client needs.
Client Engagement & Business Reviews:
Lead Quarterly BusinessReviews (QBRs) with client’s sponsor team and executives to reviewscheduling performance, realign goals, address emerging challenges,and define next-phase priorities. You should have Must be based inAtlanta, GA and ability to be at the client office up to fivedays/week. Ability to develop and grow a schedule management team.
Advanced proficiency in scheduling software. Expert level of MSProject is required along with general working knowledge andability with P6. Mastery of schedule development, including workbreakdown structures (WBS), logic sequencing, resource loading, andschedule baselining. 5 years of data center construction schedulingand/or project management expertise. Familiarity with phaseddelivery models and early equipment procurement specific to datacenter environments. Knowledge of how scheduling interfaces withcost, procurement, risk, and change management systems. Ability todevelop integrated schedules and maintain alignment across multipletrades and stakeholders. Strategic thinking to identify riskscenarios, assess mitigation options, and proactively advise onrecovery strategies.
