Day-to-day management, tracking issues, asset/facility readiness, triage, and coordination.

Engineering Support:

More technical support, possibly following an asset from OEM to CM, helping with ramp-up, and ensuring the process is understood and executed. Key Objectives /

Deliverables:
Operations Support:

Stabilize performance and coach the CM team. Manage day-to-day operations, track issues, ensure asset/facility readiness, and coordinate activities. Implement and oversee all aspects of operational readiness for the RAMP Team supporting a site during the transition from project to routine production. Work closely with the site, RAMP/Acceleration Team, GPP, and all functions to ensure successful start-up and ramp-up for new operations.

Engineering Support:

Provide technical support, particularly during start-up activities, to ensure sterility assurance programs and process/product requirements are supported. Follow assets from OEM to CM, help with ramp-up, and ensure processes are understood and executed. Identify and fix batch-related challenges that might come from a missing or poorly designed process.

General Responsibilities:

Role model, drive habits, and capability in the process team that follow MSOE. Assess differences between local sterility assurance programs across the network and drive harmonization. Create standard work documents, process maps, and other tools for right first-time execution and sustainability. Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to employees. Exhibit cross-functional influence and serve as a conduit for PTs, FT, and Labs communications. Support the team in preparing for self-led and/or agency inspections. Implement and oversee all aspects of operational readiness, including shop floor readiness. Support the site in building the right capabilities for operations (EM and Ops shift). Support the ramp-up by having the right set of metrics, reviewing line performances, and addressing human errors. Help the site prioritize during the start-up of operations. Remove obstacles by working with other teams/functions (e.g., Project team, GPP, functions). Be the liaison between the site and RAMP/Acceleration team and other sites for planning support resources. Manage and organize environmental monitoring personnel on duty in close collaboration with production functions. Ensure practice matches procedure in cooperation with the EM supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

Demonstrated relevant experience in a GMP facility. Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office products. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with mentoring, coaching, and providing feedback.

Additional Preferences:

Experience in Production, QC, QA, Technical Services, Engineering, or Regulatory. Knowledge of cGMPs. Technical writing and communication skills. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Other Information:

Overtime may be required. Travel up to 50% may be required to support other sites. May be required to respond to operational issues outside of core business hours and days.
