Job Description

Operations Specialist Mailbox Project / GSi Mailboxes and Street Signs 1367 Buford Business Boulevard, Buford, GA 30518 Job Summary . GSI Mailbox Project is seeking an Operations Specialist to assist with job preparation, vendor shipment receipt, inventory management, warehouse organization, online order fulfillment, and occasional field repairs. The chosen candidate will exhibit intelligence, humility and a drive to succeed. The candidate will demonstrate positive characteristics such as teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain agility and flexibility. The candidate must also be willing to follow GSI Mailbox Project’s vision while maintaining a positive attitude alongside colleagues and customers. The Operations Specialist will report directly to the Director of Operations and be responsible for the following: Maintain a working knowledge of all inventory, such as, but not limited to mailbox/ sign styles, post types, mailbox damage diagnosis, and overall mailbox / street sign systems. Exhibit willingness to adhere to or improve upon warehouse organization and cleanliness Communicate regularly with Director of Operations and technicians as necessary Awareness of inventory levels to note when certain parts are low in quantity Daily prep of all one-off jobs for technician execution Operate the company job/ work order management platform on mobile and desktop devices Coordinate with the Customer Service Manager and the GSI Mailbox Project Technician Team to provide the highest quality customer service Maintain a high level of quality control when reviewing parts prior to hand-off to technicians or clients. Assist the entire GSI Mailbox Project team with warehouse related activities, when applicable Fulfill all orders that come in through various online channels—including but not limited to—Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, and Shopify, etc. Orders that come in before 2pm each day need to ship out the same day. Fulfill all orders that come in through traditional channels, such as phone and email, when needed Working knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, etc. Be willing to learn new technologies, receive on-the-job training and grow in their role with GSI Mailbox Project The chosen candidate must be willing to move quickly and do whatever it takes to accomplish the goals of the company and uphold the company vision and values. The candidate must also exhibit the ability to problem solve in real-time to help the entire team put customers first.
