//risk.lexisnexis.com/insurance About our Team Claims Record Unit (CRU) is a division of LexisNexis, which is the industry leader of procuring Law Enforcement records nationwide. Insurance carriers use these records to aide in the adjudication of claims. We process 8 million requests annually and foster business relationships with agencies to streamline and improve processes. CRU is the single point of contact for our customers and utilizes multiple resources and platforms across the U.S, Canada, and P.R. Our teams are located in Duluth, Ga. and the Philippines. About the Role Demonstrates a conceptual understanding of the procurement of records for insurance purposes. Applies this understanding in the performance of routine and recurring assignments such as reviewing, compiling, acquiring, organizing, and maintaining records. Position requires every weekend availability. The role will be in office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities include:

Processing incoming responses from police agencies. Researching and reviews request and police records information from websites, various internal and external databases. Fulfilling, editing, and modifying request for police records to ensure compliance with company standards. Performing additional research as required to meet customer expectations and demonstrates ability to meet and exceed established departmental goals. Processing incoming and outgoing mail. Requiring some sedentary and physical labor. Requirements Demonstrate ability to lift 40lbs. Experience in Criminal Justice, Insurance Claims, Call Center and /or police departments.
