A. Griffin, GA 30224 Ecopol America is opening a new facility in Griffin, GA. We are in the process of hiring a Sr Staff Accountant in Griffin, GA. Ecopol was founded in 2009 in the heart of Tuscany (Italy) with the idea of helping people safeguard the unique landscape that surrounds us and, ultimately, our wonderful planet. Position:
Ecopol America is searching for a Warehouse Lead/Scheduler for our Griffin, GA facility. This position requires an individual who is safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner. The Warehouse Lead will play a critical role in ensuring that orders are received, processed, and delivered to customers accurately and on time.
This position involves working with the sales team, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise 2 material handlers Schedules all outbound and inbound loads and coordinates with Logistics Manager and sales. Responsible for inventory Process customer orders in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Negotiates rates for transportation (MUST HAVE experience) Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Handles import and export of shippments (experience with custom) Process commerical proposal, sales offer and supply contract by specifying: prices, quantities, delivery terms and payment methods. Oversee work of others to ensure orders are received, pulled, and processed correctly. Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products Updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Process monthly forecasts for each of the key clients, manage, collect and process satistical sales data, useful for analysis and benchmarking activities. Handle shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. Acquire and/or manage customer’s order and any changes by checking warehouse stocks, production, preparation of goods and shipment in compliance with agreements and deadlines established, promptly notifying the customer. Interprets the customer’s needs and expectations by identifying alternative commercial proposals, in compliance with the technical-strategic and price constraints set by the Sales department, provides pre – sales assistance in relation to commercial information, technical data sheets, suitability and various customer requests. Periodically checks sales trends and identifies and implements the most appropriate corrective actions in discussions with the commercial management. Provides after-sales assistance in the event of complaints of a logistical, qualitative, accounting nature, activating with the various process managers for the necessary corrective actions; in this context, it manages and keeps track of unpaid orders proposing corrective actions to the Sales Department. Verify order accuracy and resolve any discrepancies with sales team and customers Enter and maintain customer and order information in company databases and systems Responsible for invoice creation and processing Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and shipment tracking information Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments Other duties as required
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent SAP Microsoft Office Previous shipping experience required, at least 3 years Previous lead/supervisory experience required, at least 2 years Ability to work in fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment Ability to multi-task in fast-paced production environment Ability to be attentive to detail/ time management Forklift experience
