- Coordination sample production with the merchandising team.
- Communicate with production planning and quality control on availability of sample quality material.
- Monitor material throughout the manufacturing process
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Obtain quotes from multiple vendors on various components to obtain the best price and service.
- Collaborate with management to create and manage purchase orders.
- Issue purchase orders for printing, labeling ,swatching and packaging.
- Run various reports on material stock.
- Track and monitor order status, ensuring on-time deliveries.
- Maintaining spreadsheets used by management on progress of each production.
- Responsible for filing and maintaining accurate records on purchase and production orders.
Experience using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word) is a must. AS400 or JD Edwards is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills. Must be organized and efficient. Team oriented attitude is a must.
