As a Production Planner/Scheduler you will coordinate all the demand inputs for production and developing an achievable finite plan that meets the service and working capital requirements of Qemetica US Silica.
We are looking for a supply chain professional to join our Silicas Business of Qemetica US Silica LLC located in Monroeville, PA. Qemetica US Silica offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.
Key Responsibilities:
You will use SAP ECC Production Planning applications to schedule work orders based on available plant resources, available inventory, equipment, and production work schedules, while meeting customer demand.
Manage production parameters in detail: routings, resources, lead times, minimum order quantity and safety stock.
You will ensure planning system parameters are set to of service and working capital.
Create/publish the schedule to production team andmunicate with operations team to ensure schedule is attained.
You will use long-term rough-cut capacity planning system to identify and resolve issues of capacity constraints.
Ensure acceptable service levels to both internal and external customers.
You will work with PPG Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to coordinate new product launches and develop the S&OP 12-month supply plan.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, supply chain or another technical field
3 years Supply Chain experience in a production environment
