The Make Ready Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the turnover process of residential apartments to ensure they are ready on time for new residents to move in. This position works closely with our maintenance team, leasing team, area managers, and vendors to schedule and track all work related to make readies and maintenance work orders. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, vision insurance coverage, Vacation, personal time off (PTO), and holiday pay, Short & Long Term Disability and Life insurance, and Simple IRA plans.
Responsibilities will include:
Review move-out and walkthrough notes to develop comprehensive make ready task lists for vacated units. Schedule make ready tasks with internal maintenance staff and third-party vendors, ensuring deadlines are met for upcoming move-ins. Maintain and update the Make Ready Board daily for all assigned properties, clearly reflecting the current status of each unit in the turnover process. Track progress on make readies and follow up with staff and vendors as needed to ensure timely completion. Verify that all assigned make ready work is completed to company standards prior to resident move-in. Communicate regularly with Area Managers and Leasing Staff to coordinate move-in dates and ensure unit readiness. Enter and monitor maintenance work orders related to unit turnover, assigning appropriately and ensuring timely resolution. Assist with identifying and resolving delays or issues in the turnover process. Maintain organized records of completed make ready work, vendor schedules, and unit status updates.
