Job Description

Regional Scheduler/Recruiter 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Baton Rouge, LA 70808 The Regional Scheduler/Recruiter is responsible for both recruiting qualified caregivers and managing their schedules to ensure consistent and compliant care delivery. This dual-role position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Scheduler/Recruiter collaborates with internal departments including compliance, client services, and payroll to maintain an efficient and effective caregiver pipeline and service schedule. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to; management may assign additional tasks at their discretion):

Recruitment & Onboarding:

Develop and maintain caregiver job postings across multiple platforms. Maintain an organized and responsive applicant pipeline. Conduct interviews (phone, video, or in-person) to assess qualifications and fit. Process background checks and reference verifications. Ensure candidates meet state-specific credentialing and documentation requirements. Coordinate and track onboarding documentation using tools such as DocuSign. Assign and monitor completion of Care Academy training modules. Facilitate or support caregiver orientation sessions.

Scheduling & Staffing:

Build and manage caregiver schedules based on client needs and caregiver availability. Adjust schedules proactively to resolve conflicts and ensure care coverage. Track caregiver availability and update records regularly. Provide daily reviews of schedules and timesheets for accurate payroll and billing. Collaborate with recruitment to align new hires with open shifts.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure caregiver files remain current and meet state and agency compliance standards. Track and follow up on caregiver training completion and renewals. Maintain accurate caregiver records in systems like WellSky. Monitor and manage care logs for completeness and documentation accuracy. Track supervisory visits and ensure documentation is submitted timely. Coordinate timely caregiver performance evaluations (90-day, 180-day, annual).

Administrative Support:

Generate and mail weekly client invoices, including long-term care billing. Assist with answering phones during high call volume or backup support needs. Provide on-call support for urgent scheduling or caregiver issues.

Qualifications:

2+ years in recruiting, scheduling, or administrative roles (preferably in home care or healthcare) Knowledge of home care compliance and caregiver credentialing preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling systems, and digital onboarding tools (e.g., DocuSign, Care Academy, WellSky) Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Comfortable providing after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis

Working Conditions:

Hybrid, office-based, or remote depending on assigned region Occasional travel may be required for orientations or field visits Evening and weekend availability may be required for on-call duties
