The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or breaches. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as needed. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts and reporting them accordingly. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on-site. Manage conflicts effectively, employing conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any relevant observations for reporting purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; candidates with these certifications will be prioritized. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. A background in military service or law enforcement can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail and the ability to assess situations quickly. Must possess a valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
