Aquaspersions is a leading manufacturer and global supplier of high-quality water-based dispersions and emulsions. For over 50 years we have been providing manufacturers and formulators globally with our leading range of dispersions. To support our strategies for growth and increasing our customer base within the US market, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as Production Planning Coordinator for our new production facility in Broussard, LA. Reporting to the Group Planning Manager, in this role, you will plan and prepare the production schedule for manufacturing to meet sales order deadlines; alongside co-ordinating freight order management. What You’ll Do Manage the production plan, ensuring that customer orders are met within required timescales. Assess inventory and production data to determine manufacturing needs, advising the Group Demand Planning Manager. Administrate the requisition and fulfillment of work orders. Ensure inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels to fulfill sales orders. Maintaining raw material inventory to meet production target levels, reporting weekly to key stakeholders to ensure there is enough to meet demand. Manage and review purchase orders accurately, accounting for deadlines and demand requirements and ensuring they are received on time and in full. Manage Sage with purchase order generation and sales order generation, following up and reporting to key stakeholders as needed. Coordinate freight order management, including booking transport for sales orders and troubleshooting delivery issues. Manage communication with customers concerning delivery dates, changes, and updates, responding to problems with excellent customer service. Communicate daily with production and warehouse staff to ensure planning is accurate, on time and in full. Ensure that quality control standards are maintained in compliance with planning and supply regulations. What You Need Two (2) or more years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge and experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is essential. Experience with fleet management, transportation, supply chain, distribution, and logistics is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Self-motivated and proactive. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
