Job Description:
This role is for a Lead,Program Scheduler. This person will be a direct employee working onprograms within the Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) segment, Maritimedivision reporting to a Manager, Program Scheduler. Leads and directsexperienced professionals, supervisors, or managers. Communicates withinand outside of organization to explain and influence changes topolicies, practices, or approaches. Makes significant improvements inprocesses, systems, or products. Establishes short-term operationalplans with measurable contribution to function or business area results.
Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area andcomprehensive knowledge within professional discipline.
EssentialFunctions:
Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs orprojects. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans areintegrated across company functional groups including finance,engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Tracks plans andschedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical pathand network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts,earned value management and other project management techniques to gaugeprogress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus andintervention on critical areas. Ensures compliance with internal programprocedures and project control system guidelines. May lead orparticipate in scheduling status reviews. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Requires management and leadership knowledge in programplanning and scheduling. Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.
Requires Earned Value Management experience. Bachelor’s Degree andminimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimumof 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation). Competentcomputer skills related to Microsoft office, Excel, Word, andPowerPoint. Schedule Risk Analysis experience United States citizen.
