Johnson O’Connor is a regional Public Accounting Firm located outside of Boston in Wakefield, MA. We are seeking an Operations Staff to join our team. The Operations Staff is responsible for assisting with different aspects of the operations department with a focus on finance, human resources, and learning & development. Responsibilities:
Finance:
Billing – Assist Operations Supervisor with Firm’s monthly billing process. Enter accounts payable in Bill.com. Assist with bi-weekly and monthly financial reporting tasks. Process daily bank receipts/disbursements in QuickBooks Online.
Human Resources:
Support Operations Supervisor with all Human Resources initiatives. Assist with the onboarding and deboarding process for employees within ADP. Assist with annual benefit renewal changes and compliance matters. Assist with semi-monthly payroll processing.
Learning & Development:
Coordinate external CPE Training activities and track Employee CPE credits. Facilitate all internal trainings. Coordinate Work Force Training Reimbursement Applications, where applicable. Help with the annual evaluation process and semi-annual evaluations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist other operations team members with ad hoc work as requested.
The job-essential requirements are:
