Non-Exempt Job Summary:

The Production Control Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to the production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules, conferring with the department leads to determine progress of work and completion dates, and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, and production issues Duties and responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across Conformis. Understand the objectives, responsibilities, and mission of the Production department and work towards those goals. Prioritize and plan work activities; adapt for changing conditions. Manage jobs/priorities on the manufacturing floor and in the SLS room. Manage castings shipments to outside suppliers. Manage special insert jobs on the manufacturing floor. Track/follow-up on Non-Conforming Material issues (NCMR’s). Assist the Material Control Analyst to validate / recount daily cycle counts. Kit jobs to the floor. Job/Material transactions on floor. Interface with manufacturing and planning personnel on material status and production planning issues. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and experience:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. 3 years of demonstrated success in production environment. Production control experience a plus. Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Oracle experience a plus. Experience with expediting, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices, and MS Office applications. Experience in lean manufacturing environments a plus. APICS certification a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work accurately in a fast-paced, hectic, ever-changing environment with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to monitor your own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness. Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills. Able to self-motivate and work both independently and as part of a team. Execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision. Motivated and able to multi-task. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be aware of hazards within the company; adhere to safety standards established by FDA and other regulatory agencies. Able to work in changing environments (reduced lighting, increased noise, temperature variances, unpleasant odors, etc.).
