Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you’ll also provide administrative support, assist with fundraising events, contribute to grant writing and reporting, and conduct donor research to inform cultivation strategies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and mission-driven, with strong organizational and communication skills. What You’ll Love Managing gift processing and acknowledgment letters to ensure donors feel valued and appreciated for their generosity. Leveraging Salesforce, our CRM, to maintain accurate donor and prospect data, generate reports, and support fundraising strategy with reliable information. Supporting USES’s grant writing efforts by assisting in the preparation of proposals, gathering supporting materials, and contributing to timely reporting. Playing a key role in planning and executing fundraising events by managing GoFundMe Pro (formerly Classy), coordinating with donors and attendees, and supporting sponsorship outreach and applications. Acting as a key liaison with the Finance team to ensure consistency between Development and Finance records and reporting. Coordinating donor meetings and stewardship logistics for the Chief Development Officer, Major Gifts Officer, and CEO—including scheduling, preparing briefing materials, recording meeting notes in Salesforce, and tracking follow-ups. Conducting prospect research to inform cultivation strategies and creating compelling donor profiles and meeting briefs. Providing day-to-day administrative support for the Chief Development Officer, helping ensure smooth and effective operations. Supporting the production and distribution of major fundraising and stewardship communications, including appeals, acknowledgments, and the annual report. Managing inventory of fundraising materials and coordinating with vendors to keep supplies organized and fully stocked. Engaging directly with donors and supporters through personal outreach, including thank-you calls and emails. Attending USES events—such as graduations, community celebrations, and donor gatherings—to connect with families and supporters (some evenings and weekends required). Serving as a USES ambassador in the broader community, representing our mission and programs at local events. Collaborating with teammates and supporting additional development functions as needed, including cross-training with other team members.
