Operations Associate 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars Boston, MA 02111 • Hybrid work Operations Associate (Hybrid, Boston) A Boston-based investment firm with approximately $11 billion in AUM is seeking an Operations Associate to support its growing and diversified investment platform. The firm manages capital across public and private markets with a strong emphasis on alternative strategies, serving institutional investors and select private clients.

Position Overview:

This role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing Operations team focused on supporting a complex portfolio that includes equities, fixed income, derivatives, hedge funds, private equity, real assets, and co-investments. The Associate will collaborate closely with internal teams—IT, Finance, Trading, and Investments—as well as external custodians, fund administrators, and counterparties.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily securities pricing, cash and position reconciliations Manage OTC collateral, variation margin, and swap cash flows Process corporate actions, proxy voting, and dividends Handle security setup, trade settlement, and transaction processing Calculate and allocate fund expenses Coordinate with third-party service providers to resolve operational issues Contribute to projects aimed at process improvement and automation

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 4-8 years of investment operations experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with platforms such as Advent Geneva, Bloomberg, and Tamale is a plus Must be willing to work on a hybrid schedule in Boston This is a full-time opportunity that is offering a strong all-in compensation package with strong benefits.
