Neighborhood Villages works with community providers to pilot programs that reduce barriers to accessing affordable, high quality child care.
Our core intervention areas include:
Providing operations support to promote excellence in early learning programming Stabilizing the early education workforce through teacher training and fellowship programs Transforming child care and early learning centers into neighborhood resource hubs The Operations Coordinator , reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, will work closely with Neighborhood Villages’ central operations and leadership teams and staff members across the organization, supporting across various initiatives, including administrative operations, event planning and execution, and other special projects. Duties and responsibilities are detailed below.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Draft and edit communications, such as staff and board newsletters Play an integral role in the Neighborhood Villages hiring process through record keeping and initial screening conversations Provide logistical planning and support for events Manage Neighborhood Villages’ office space, ensuring systems for space reservations, supplies, and technology are set up and maintained Provide general administrative and operations support to members of the Neighborhood Villages team Support Neighborhood Villages teams’ usage and management of database systems Provide calendar management and scheduling support to Executive Leadership Support scheduling, planning for, and execution of meetings Support members of the NV team with excellent advance preparation and diligent follow-up for meetings Engage in research projects to support organizational initiatives Support the organization with other initiatives and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in an administrative or operations-focused position; nonprofit experience preferred Exceptional ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks and priorities Demonstrated ability to connect with people and foster community relationships Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent organizational and data entry skills and commitment to being thorough Strong analytic and data systems management skills including proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Salary Range:
