HS diploma or GED required 3-5 Years of experience required Experience scheduling surgical procedures Experience scheduling OB/GYN procedures a plus Experience maintaining the surgeon’s schedules Experience registering patients and inputting information into the EMR system EMR experience Experience working with Epic a plus Experience completing pre-authorization paperwork Experience working with patients to obtain referrals for pre-surgical appointments Experience working directly with insurance companies to obtain prior authorizations Experience assembling surgery packets and confirming that they are obtained by the pre-admission office Experience maintaining the surgical schedule
