Analyze and propose process improvements and assist in implementing and testing systems, applications, and programs that enhance service to students, faculty, professional staff, and alumni.
Assist the Senior Associate Registrar for Operations and Reporting with special projects and manage open Information Technology Services (ITS) help desk tickets for the office.
Assist and support the service operations and daily productions of the Registrar’s Office. Participate in and provide cross-training for other staff in areas of individual expertise.
Monitors operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with best practices, defined standards, and regulatory requirements. Data Management & Reporting
Assist in developing and organizing queries, reports, and interactive dashboards for Registrar’s Office staff and wider university stakeholders, ensuring accessibility.
Develop and update SOPs for reports and dashboards; help develop training materials and deliver introductory sessions on data tools.
Collaborate with colleagues to address data inquiries, share knowledge and best practices, and promote data literacy across the university.
Collaboration
Collaborate with Student Financial Services, Institutional Research, ITS, and Assistant and Associate Deans from various colleges to assist with data gathering, communication, and project execution under the guidance of senior team members.
Responsible for maintaining the University Registrar’s SharePoint sites.
Student Records & Compliance
Ensures the integrity and security of student records in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and with all accreditation standards.
Perform routine and non-routine records processing and adjustment duties while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, with a minimum of three years of experience in a Registrar’s Office or higher education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of college-level student records principles, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of computerized student information systems. Experience with Ellucian Banner or other student information systems (Ellucian Colleague, Jenzabar, Peoplesoft, Workday, etc.) is preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of student academic-related records.
Demonstrated experience with Access, COGNOS, or other report writers.
Experience successfully using project management software like SmartSheets or Asana.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Commitment to high standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior in all interactions and responsibilities.
Interpret and apply university policies with sound judgment, particularly in matters of academic integrity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
