OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
to work in our Brunswick, ME facility. Reporting to the Director of Operations in the US, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day support of our US based distribution operations. Job Description Primary responsibilities will include: Warehouse Operations o Maintain Monthly Inventory – Physical inventory count on a monthly basis with high degree of accuracy o Receipt of New Inventory o Receive inbound materials from inbound freight carrier o Cross reference packing slips and physical material to ensure accurate count o Break down pallets and put materials in designated areas o Weekly Shipment Processing o Create customer / material specific labels for each shipment due to depart on a given week. o Work with counterparts to ensure all weekly shipments are picked and packed according to customer demand o Ensure all proper documentation is complete and adhered to physical shipments as well as ensuring material is packaged appropriately and completely o Create shipping documents for all corresponding shipments (FedEx / UPS small parcel labels as well as Bill Of Lading for LTL requirements) o Ensure a clean work environment free from dust and debris o Order office / shipping supplies as needed to avoid out of stock on key items o Ensure appropriate filing of digital documentation (CoA, SDS, etc) for inbound and outbound orders Coordination- Communication With Customers o Maintain good communication with customers relating to outbound shipments o Send tracking information, CoA and any other pertinent documentation in order to keep the customer aware of shipments and deliver timing Communication o Maintain excellent verbal and written (clear, concise, and courteous) with customer and colleagues both in the US and International Competencies o Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal o Customer Focus o Attention to Detail o Organizational Skills o Ability to Prioritize o Innovative Problem Solving o Business Acumen o Cultural Sensitivity o Team Player o Comfort utilizing all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Education and experience o Certification or Associates Degree in Logistics or related field (preferred) o 2 years of Customer Service and/or Warehouse experience o Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Physical demands As this position is responsible for inventory management, shipment coordination, and shipment packaging, the role requires: o Ability to stand for long periods of time o Ability to bend and lift boxes / drums for packaging and shipping often at 65lbs+ Travel required – none Other duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
