PROJECT SCHEDULER

The individual will oversee and manage the scheduling operation for commercial construction projects ranging from $10M-$100M. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules, scheduling analytics and project and company reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPM scheduling and project coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
Perform critical path analysis (CPM) and identify potential schedule risks, delays, and mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress, update schedules regularly, and generate reports on delays, milestones, and completion forecasts.
Coordinate with material and equipment procurement planning to ensure timely material deliveries and subcontractor mobilization.
Lead schedule review meetings, providing insight into construction sequencing, and work efficiency.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, scheduling specifications, and industry best practices.
Provide scheduling support for bids and proposals, including baseline schedules and time impact analysis.
Train and mentor project teams on scheduling best practices and software tools.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
5-10 years’ experience in scheduling commercial construction projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, and critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
Ability to analyze project constraints, and risk management strategies.
Familiarity with contract documents, construction specifications, and project delivery methods.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or building industry related experience.
