About the Role As a Production Coordinator at ROOV, you are the operational heartbeat of our build process. From coordinating labor and materials to managing inspections and supporting subcontractors, you’ll ensure our roofing projects are executed seamlessly, safely, and on schedule. This role bridges the gap between sales, suppliers, subs, and the customer—keeping communication tight and jobs on track. Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Planning & Construction Management Create daily task plans through lists and email Anticipate issues and stay organized Perform job site check-ins (typically 8:00 AM unless otherwise noted) Capture and upload construction documentation (pre-build, mid-roof, completion photos) Perform thorough final walk-throughs and checklist submissions Document and resolve material or build issues Scheduling & Coordination Schedule material deliveries and subcontractor labor Communicate timelines clearly with homeowners and internal teams Verify job contracts, codes, and forms before scheduling Update job milestones and maintain accurate project records Supplier & Subcontractor Management Order and verify materials using internal systems and cheat sheets Maintain communication with supplier reps on timelines and pricing Manage subcontractor relationships, retain documents Onboard new subs and ensure compliance with ROOV’s standards Permits & Inspections Pull necessary permits and stay updated on regional code changes Schedule and set ladders for mid and final inspections Communicate with clients and building departments about timelines and requirements Resolve inspection punch list items quickly and professionally Warranty Work Manage all incoming warranty claims with urgency and professionalism Create warranty job files, schedule inspections and repairs Document findings thoroughly to meet manufacturer standards Team Support Attend and lead internal training sessions on products and procedures Provide roof inspections or ladder assists for the sales team as needed Collaborate with other departments and maintain ROOV’s high standard of service Day-to-Day You’ll split your time between office work, field management, and virtual operations meetings . In the office, you’ll update job files, create material and labor orders, and coordinate with sales and admin teams. Out in the field, you’ll manage active builds—checking in with crews, inspecting job sites, taking progress photos, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. On build days your day will end after crew has completed work and extra material is returned. Throughout the week, you’ll join virtual meetings with the operations team to align on priorities, address challenges, and plan ahead. From setting up a project to solving real-time issues, you’re the driving force behind turning jobs into successful completions.
