Job Description:
Working as astrategic member of the Operations Team, you will be responsiblefor scheduling our hourly workforce on the production floor. We’rehoping you can take a new angle on what otherwise might beordinary. You will be the liaison between Supervisors and othermembers of Plant Staff, supporting any hourly position movement. Duties:
- Scheduling Extraordinaire
- You willbe responsible for scheduling on-site hourly crews for definedshifts on our production floor and maintaining appropriatescheduling records (Leave of Absences, Vacation, and Bereavement)for the facility. You will be the primary contact for the hourlyworkforce and will be responsible for scheduling training, companyfunctions and community events.
- Continuous Collaboration
- Youwill be serving as the liaison to Supervisors and other staff tounderstand the production demand in order to schedule employeesaccordingly. You will also support employee development initiativesthrough training and the development of plant leadership.
- Recording & Reporting
- You will maintain accurate reporting oflabor for each shift, entering employee attendance into appropriatedatabases and creating individual and summary trend reports. Someof the reports you manage will include Monthly Hours Not Worked andOvertime Reports in accordance to the collective bargainingagreement.
- Following Best Practices
- You will be responsible forthe compliance of Food Safety within the plant including propersanitary conditions, allergen control, pest control as well asother policies and procedures.
- The ability to work a full shift,come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability towork according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirementswith or without reasonable accommodation is an essential functionof this position
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED orInternational Equivalent
- Strong organizational skills, attentionto detail, written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeableof Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Technically capableof working within a scheduling system and ERP programs, such as,SAP and Kronos.
- The individual needs to be able to navigatemultiple systems and create schedules in Excel and work with theother related MS Office products.
