If you are a determined individual and want to learn from the best eye care professionals in the area, then we want to hear from you! Responsibilities include (and may vary): Answer all phone calls in a pleasant and professional manner Ability to effectively triage calls from patients to ensure appropriate scheduling Listen and ask questions to accurately determine the patient’s objective for the call Take messages from patients and transfer calls, as needed Add detailed messages into EMR messaging templates and forward appropriately for follow up Accurately add patient/appointment information to NextGen computer system Reschedule clinic, cancellation, and “no show” appointments for assigned providers Recall – phone calls to patients who are overdue for an appointment Monitor email messages Schedule appointments from Patient Portal or Online Requests Maintain and update information in individual training/procedures manual provided Other duties as assigned

Hours:

8:00a – 5:00p M-F. •remote hybrid option after 1 year of employment•

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent Preferably previous scheduling experience or training Preferably previous insurance experience or training Good communication and organizational skills Good patient rapport Good listening skills Outstanding customer service skills Possess basic computer skills and efficiently use the computer Maintain patient confidentiality at all times Adhere to HIPAA regulations High degree of reliability, dependability, and accuracy We understand the importance of work-life balance and want our team members to thrive personally and professionally.
